Social Determinants of Health Webinar Series: Advocacy in Florida's Medicaid Managed Care Program

This webinar will provide advocacy strategies in assisting individuals enrolled in Medicaid managed care programs. The webinar will provide an overview of the structure of the managed care program, who are mandatory and voluntary participants, enrollment procedures, and appeal rights with needed services are denied. This will help home visitors better assist families in navigating health insurance services options for them and their children.
